The weather has been goofy in Phoenix this past week. Rain, temperatures below 100, and flooded streets are just a few of the abnormalities. Usually it’s hard for me to wear anything but a swimsuit this time of year, but Monsoon season seems to be opening up a few more wardrobe options.
Pairing different denim washes has become on of my favorite casual, yet put-together looks. It’s a look anyone can successfully pull off. I am a big proponent for mixing designer pieces with budget friendly pieces. It is great to have a balance in your closet of pieces that you don’t have to worry about messing up, then investing in designer pieces you can use with many outfits. For example, this chambray shirt was a bargain from Forever 21. Worn with well-crafted Prada ankle boots, a statement necklace, and a designer bag, the chambray can easily be mistaken for a much more expensive piece.
