No Necklace Necessary

Today was a ponytail kind of day. This sparkly shirt from J.Crew helped justify the ponytail since the faceted rhinestone detailing along the neckline is too fun to coverup with hair. I have a feeling this new blouse will be on heavy rotation in my wardrobe this Summer!

What have you added to your Summer wardrobe? Any favorite pieces that you can’t stop wearing?

Spring Florals

Klury Woven Dress

The Hermes wedges we added to Klury this week were begging for a walk in the Arizona sun. This afternoon I decided to take off my flats and go for a stroll down the Palo Verde lined streets. There is not a lot of color in our beautiful desert landscape, so capturing the yellow flowers and bright green trees was a must!

Speaking of florals…I am dying for a bouquet of Peonies!! I haven’t been able to find them anywhere. What is your favorite flower to have around the house?

Stylish Suitcases

Today marks exactly 6 months until our wedding day. We are celebrating by booking our honeymoon (and popping some bubbly)!  Planning our trip to Belize made me realize I could really use some new travel gear. Boy are there some great options out there! This Kate Spade Suitcase has a timeless look and wheels, making it the perfect investment. Now it’s time to start saving my pennies. Who says suitcases can’t be colorful and stylish?!

Where is the next trip you are planning? Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Summer Swimsuit Style Guide

[Sun Bum Sunscreen, Jonathan Adler Fedora, Net-A-Porter Beach Dress, Chloe Sunglasses, Shopbop Straw Tote, Land's End Beach Towel, Why Can't I Be You: A Novel, Anthropologie Swimsuit, Miu Miu Bow Sandals]

With our annual family beach trip to the Outer Banks quickly approaching, swimsuits have been heavy on my mind. With my drawer overflowing with mix matched bikini tops and bottoms, I have set out on a quest to find the perfect one piece.  A one piece that is classy, yet young and stylish can be hard to find. This black halter from Anthropoligie is perfect.  The side ruching, open back, and peek-a-boo detailing at the chest create a flattering piece for nearly any body type.  It’s now at the top of my Summer shopping list.

Ps: How fabulous is that beach towel? We just added them to our wedding registry!

Do you have a perfect one piece or do you stick to bikinis? Where is your favorite beach?

Weekend Wrap Up: Sushi, Movies, Bee Stings, and the Arizona Blogger Conference

Is is seriously Monday already? This weekend flew by. The much anticipated Arizona Blogger Conference took place on Saturday night at the Palomar Hotel. It was a blast! Meeting new friends, listening to great panel of speakers,  amazing swag bags, and a fun photo booth were just some of the highlights. Please excuse the cellphone photos. Next time I really need to bring a camera with me!

Friday night the Mr. and I enjoyed trying new sushi concoctions at Sushi on Shea. Our favorite was the Strawberry Fields roll. It was filled with sweet potatoes and asparagus then topped with warm bananas, strawberry slices and a strawberry syrup. It may sound a little unusual, but the flavor combo was fantastic! We also enjoyed watching the Arizona premier of the movie Love Sick Love. A sweet friend of mine’s sister and brother-in-law directed and produced the movie. The comedy turned love story turned horror film was great to watch.

Sunday was spent prepping for this week and photographing loads of great new arrivals for Klury.com.  I also enjoyed some time in the pool (which included a bee sting). I think Sunday’s are becoming one of my favorite days of the week. I love organizing the upcoming week and month. I guess you could say I am a little Type A.

How was your weekend? Did you attend #ABC13? What’s your favorite type of Sushi?

Crazy for Hearts

One: Modcloth Bracelet Two: Top Shop Heart Dress Three: C. Wonder Slippers Four: Lanvin Bag Five: Ban.do Pin

Maybe it’s being knee deep in wedding planning or the upcoming Valentine’s Day festivities, but lately I’ve been sappy for all things love. The simple heart shape against a solid background creates a graphic look that is hard to pass up. A sparkly heart pin? A pair of velvet slippers? A lucite bangle? I’ll take one of each!

Do you spice up your wardrobe for Valentine’s day? Which of these would you add to your closet?
